When a new season starts, most players go back to Honor level 2. From there, they can work their way up to level 5 again. Each level has three checkpoints, and you get rewards at each checkpoint and when you level up. There are also two lower levels: Honor level 1 and 0. You can only drop to these levels if you get punished for bad behavior.
