League of Legends
Victorious Sona was Riot Games’ reward for Split 2 of the 2024 ranked season. This exclusive skin was within reach for many players, but the window has closed. There was a catch – you had to earn it by September 25th, 2024, and Victorious skins don’t return, so it can no longer be earned. Here’s how it worked, and what the current Victorious reward asks for.

What are Victorious Skins?
Victorious Skins are special rewards in League of Legends that Riot gives out to players for playing ranked. Each ranked year in League is split into 3 parts, called “splits” back in 2024 and “seasons” today. Your climb carries over between seasons, and your rank resets at the start of a new year. Each season has its own Victorious Skin, and your final rank decides which Chromas you get with it. These skins are unique and can’t be bought in the store.
To get a Victorious Skin, you need to meet certain requirements set by Riot. Since 2025, this means winning 15 ranked games in a season across Solo/Duo and Flex and finishing at Honor Level 3 or higher. The exact requirements can change, so it’s important to check what you need to do for each one.

How to Earn Victorious Sona
Getting Victorious Sona was pretty simple, but you needed to meet two requirements. The first one was about your honor level. You needed to be at Honor 2 or higher. If you were below Honor 2, you couldn’t get the skin.
The second requirement was about Split Points (SP). If you were below Gold rank, you needed to earn 1000 SP. But if you were Gold or higher, you only needed 80 SP, which is about 10 games. You got these Split Points by just playing ranked games.
This system made it possible for any player to get a Victorious skin! You didn’t have to be the best player ever, you just needed to play enough games and keep your honor level up.
One more thing to keep in mind: while you could earn the basic Victorious Sona skin this way, the different color versions (chromas) of the skin depended on your final rank for the split. The same idea still applies today, as our LoL Season Rewards 2026 guide explains, so even after you’ve earned a skin there’s still a good reason to keep playing and try to climb higher!

Victorious Sona Release Date
Split 2 ended on September 25th, 2024, which is also when Split 3 kicked off. Riot Games then began distributing the Victorious Sona skin to eligible player accounts, and the skin’s release date is listed as October 10th, 2024. Riot didn’t give an exact date for when everyone would receive the skin, as it depended on various factors in their distribution process.
Final Words
Earning Victorious Sona was an achievable goal for many League of Legends players, but the September 25th, 2024 deadline has passed. If you missed it, the current ranked season is your next chance: win 15 ranked games, keep your Honor at Level 3 or higher, and don’t miss out on adding that season’s Victorious skin to your collection.
