King Rammus: How Rare Is It and Can You Still Get It?

King Rammus is one of the most exclusive skins in League of Legends. Riot gave it to closed beta players in 2009, before the game launched, as a thank you for testing it.

How players got King Rammus

You had to play in the closed beta. The skin dates from October 20, 2009, the same month League of Legends launched, and there was no other way to get it.

Can you still get King Rammus?

No. It isn’t sold in the store, and Riot lists it with skins it has no plans to offer another way. A few posts in 2026 claimed it briefly appeared in the shop, but we found no confirmation from Riot.

If you want a classic Rammus look, Baron Rammus is a separate skin sold in the League Classic store.

How rare is King Rammus?

We checked the skin shards on 120,000+ level 30+ accounts, and King Rammus never appeared once. See our full list of the rarest LoL skins.
