League of Legends has millions of player accounts. Some have been around for over 10 years. Players want to know how old their accounts are. An account’s age matters. Older accounts are worth more. Accounts from Season 1 or 2 are rare. They have skins, champs, and badges newer accounts don’t. Some players won’t sell these accounts. The memories are priceless. Others know very old accounts sell for more money.
Account age changes what an account is worth. A Season 1 account sells for hundreds more than a new one.
This guide will show you how to check when your League account was made (or how old is your LoL account). If you want to remember your early League days, check your account’s age.
We have three ways for you to check when was your League account created.
Contact Riot Support
This is the easiest and most efficient way to know your account’s age. By simply contacting Riot Games’ you will know when was your League of Legends account created. To do this, head over to the League of Legends website and click on “Submit a ticket” then select “General Question” as your Request Type, fill in your details and write in the Subject “Account Age”, in the description write “Hello, I would like to know exactly when was my League of Legends account created” then submit your request.
Riot Games Support should answer you within 24-48 hours, maybe less if you are lucky. However, worry not – they will definitely answer you with the answer of your inquiry!

Use Third-Party Websites
So there are websites that could also help you with this information. All you have to do is – go to op.gg, enter your Summoner name, and at the top you can see your ranks at different seasons. This way you’ll be able to know the very first season that you played e.g. if you had a rank in season 1 then your account was created since 2010 – which is 13 years ago from the day we are writing this! You’re a veteran if you’re from season 1 so salute to you.

Find Clues (e-mail, skins, achievements, etc.)
There are other clues that can reveal the age and history of your League account. Longtime players may have registration emails from Riot Games saved in their inboxes from when they first created their accounts. Rare skins released in early seasons like Black Alistar, Silver Kayle, and Rusty Blitzcrank are another indicator your account is aged.
Profile badges and ranked reward icons from Season 1-3 also showcase seniority. Scouring your email history, purchasable skins tab, and accomplishments can provide hints about your account’s longevity without knowing an exact creation date. Even small traces like limited edition summoner icons or legacy content can signal your account’s veteran status if you don’t have season rankings documented.
If you don’t know which e-mail you used when creating your League account, follow these steps below to find it:
-
Access your League of Legends account and login.
-
Locate and click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen after logging in.
-
A dropdown menu will appear. Click on the “Settings” option from this menu.
-
Select the “Personal Information” tab on this page.
-
Your account email address should be listed here.
-
Take note of the email address shown here, as this is the one used when you first created your League of Legends account.
Now that you’ve located the email address attached to your League of Legends account, the next step is to log into that email inbox. Once logged in, do a search for the oldest emails you have received from Riot Games. Look for initial welcome emails or account creation confirmation messages from when you first signed up. If you are able to find the first email Riot Games sent you when you registered your account, check the date on that email. This is most likely the date when you originally created your League of Legends account.
