The latest champion that is going to be added to League of Legends is Briar – who is thirsty for blood and hungry for life. When facing her in a solo queue, her insatiable and unrelenting hunger will leave you famished. Today, we are going to write about Briar’s Abilities in League of Legends so you’re aware of her abilities either if you play with her or against her.
Before jumping into Briar’s abilities, you might wonder when Briar is going to be released? She is very likely to be released on 13rd of September. As this is the very League of Legends update (Patch 13.18) at the time of writing this.
Briar Abilities in LoL
Briar brings powerful abilities to the Rift including her passive Crimson Curse as well as her Q Head Rush, W Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack, E Chilling Scream, and ultimate Certain Death. Each of Briar’s abilities allows her to leverage her vampiric strengths in different ways against opponents.

Passive – Crimson Curse
Her Passive – Crimson Curse lets Briar heal more when she is hurt. Her attacks and skills make enemies bleed. The bleeds stack up and deal more damage. The bleeds also heal Briar based on the damage done. Briar has no normal health regeneration. She must use her own health to cast her skills. This means Briar needs to make enemies bleed to heal herself. She hurts them to heal her own wounds. Briar is like a vampire, taking health from others.
Q – Head Rush
What her Q – Head Rush does is that Briar jumps to an enemy, stunning them briefly, dealing physical damage, and lowering their armor. If Briar uses Head Rush on a minion or monster during her Blood Frenzy, she will stop focusing on champions.
W – Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack
W – Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack ability allows Briar to jump to a spot and go into a Blood Frenzy. She focuses on the nearest enemy, preferring champions. During the frenzy, she attacks faster, moves faster, and her attacks hits enemies around her target. Briar can re-use the ability to power up her next attack. It deals damage based on missing health and heals Briar a lot.

E – Chilling Scream
E – Briar starts charging up by removing Blood Frenzy. She gains damage reduction and heals. When released, Briar screams. It deals more damage the longer she charges. It also slows enemies briefly. A fully charged scream knocks back enemies. If they hit a wall, it deals extra damage and stuns them.
R – Certain Death
R – Certain Death allows Briar to kick a hemolith and fly to the location of the first champion hit, marking them as her prey. On landing, she deals a large amount of physical damage to everything nearby and causes nearby enemies to Flee. She then enters an empowered Blood Frenzy and will pursue her prey until one of them dies. During this time she gains Armor, Magic Resist, and additional Move Speed.
